My longtime friend David McCord approached me to craft his new skin care company, Maui Vera. Maui Vera is now a leading organic after-sun moisturizer product across the Hawaiian Islands.

I started with David's spark to create an organic, spa quality sunburn relief and after-sun moisturizer. With this vision, I crafted a name that represented the two main components, where it was made (Maui) and its core ingredient (Aloe Vera). Further I developed a tagline that captured the essence of the brand; "Feel the Healing Touch of Hawaii." Being a strategic advisor to the company, I created all their marketing and sales materials, website, and defined their initial sales plan.

In the first 6 months of launching the company, Maui Vera became the exclusive product of choice for The Spa @ the Four Seasons on Maui & Lanai, the Awili Spa @ Andaz Maui, Willow Stream Spa @ Fairmont Kea Lani, Trump Waikiki, and Spa Grande @ Grand Wailea. Additional retailers were ABC Stores, Walmart, Target, Foodland, Food Pantry, and Safeway.
