MasterCard hired us to ideate on their real-time transaction API which enables developers and companies to access merchant and transaction information on any business in the world that accepts MasterCard. As part of our work, we held an initial workshop with them where we captured their vision for what this API could do and how it would work. Taking that vision, we established a distinct set of customer journeys for how a customer could discover amazing places in San Francisco and New York on a mobile app. We then crafted a set of sketches and wireframes to show how you could visualize this data in a consumer experience. As part of our final delivery, we delivered a clickable prototype which enables you to explore the API and see how rich the data set is when visualized in a consumer facing mobile app. Lastly, we developed an explainer video so MasterCard could tell the story around their API so developers and businesses could understand the power of their rich data set on real-time transactions.
